The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will have another strong presence this year!
With the huge success of the famous Spider-Man No Way Home, now it looks like this new movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is going to continue Marvel’s multiverse shenanigans. The franchise dropped with an amazing trailer and the mind-bending poster showing the multiverse.
In front of the iconic window, we can see our Sherlock Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange making a strong entry in his new costume in the Sanctum Sanctorum, trying to keep off the multiverse as everything is shattering around him in the world. You can see the multiple characters shown in the pieces of the glasses shattered around Benedict, which are going to be a part of this amazing gigantic comic book epic showing Elizabeth Olsen Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong’s Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Baron Mordo, Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer, Xochitl Gomez’s America Chavez and Strange himself.
As it is a Marvel story, no one will get any insider information about the mystery surrounding this film from the poster and the thrilling trailer showing the hints to the audience that the mutants might be finally coming into the MCU with a touch of the mysterious voice of Patrick Stewart. The trailer also shows us that Strange, haunted by nightmares in the multiverse, is coming to an end.
It seems like Strange will be pairing up with Scarlet Witch, and while Strange is dealing with different threats like an evil version of himself and Mordo, it also shows that Scarlet witch will be ending up as an antagonist. The actions of Scarlet Witch and Strange at the end of No Way Home and Wanda Vision both of the heroes are in a dark place. Doctor Strange in No Way Home closed the portals to the multiverse, but for what because once you open a doorway there, it is difficult to know what came through. This shows that the Sorcerer Supreme compiles his gang to clean up his mess.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse is only three months away from its premiere. These famous Marvel heroes are not only returning, but they are also bringing Sam Raimi in the director’s place after 15 years of time.
