Jolyne discovers the depth of her father’s affection for her and vows to get the discs from Whitesnake’s user, a Catholic priest named Enrico Pucci, who met DIO in the 1980s. Along the journey, Jolyne gets allies in Emporio Albino, a prison-born youngster, and Ermes Costello, an inmate out to revenge her sister. Jolyne also battles and befriends the Foo Fighters, a sentient plankton colony Pucci created to defend the stolen Stand Discs and inhabits the corpse of a female prisoner. While Jolyne retrieves Star Platinum, Enrico retains Jotaro’s memories, which contain information of DIO’s intention to construct a “perfect world” if certain conditions are met at a certain location on the night of the new moon.
